Mill is a community owned and managed economic, educational,
cultural and social regeneration project. It is situated half
a mile from the City Centre in Conway Street, Lower Falls.
In its
previous life it was the first Flax Spinning Mill in West
Belfast, the epicentre of the European Linen industry. The
complex received listed building status in 2000.

equipment purchased by the committee. We hope, in the future,
to be able to facilitate other mediums with shared resources,
so enabling others to establish businesses in the creative

Mill Craft Shop
Our centre provides a retail outlet for local craft workers
and artists and caters for the gift and collectors markets.
The craft produced is hand made and of a high quality.
